SEMINAR: “The impact of sequencing for studying biology today”

3/03/2016

March 10th, 2016

Genomic and metagenomic experiments are generating massive amounts of data today. Technological advances make it increasingly cheaper to produce sequencing data, even cheaper than the cost to store, manage and analyze it. The massive amounts of data often require the utilization of supercomputers. This talk will touch upon some of the genomic and metagenomic projects we are working with in the Metagenomics group at DTU.

Bent Petersen, Associate Professor, PhD.
