The Chilean National Council for Innovation and the Ministry of Education invited the best 100 students from public schools to a 10 day meeting about Science and Technology. The intensive schedule includes lectures of well known Chilean scientists and practical experiences in which they will solve scientific-technological challenges.

After the opening speech, given by the ministers of Education and Economy, Sebastián Bernales spoke about how important is to wonder and be passionate about your research, and how to frame your questions so they can be studied with a scientific model. Pablo Valenzuela followed him with a motivational lecture in which he talked about his own experience and encouraged the young students to take risks and seek the opportunities that life brings.
