Fundacion’s Business Director gave keynote lecture at the Chilean embassy in Washington DC

On Friday October 29th was held, the first meeting of Chilean scientists, organized by the Association of Chilean scientists in the Washington area and the Chilean embassy.

With over 50 attendees, including chilean scientists who are working or studying in major research centers in the U.S., the Business Director of Fundación Ciencia para la Vida, Cristián Hernández, explained how the FCV works and how it can be used as a proof-of-concept initiative that may be replicated by fellow chilean researches who may wish to return to Chile to do science.

The aim of the meeting was bring together chilean scientists that are working in the US and try to foster new relationships, both among themselves, and with Chile.
