Eureka’s series “The Voyage of Darwin” receives recognition in Spain
22/11/2010The series was awared the best documental at the XXVI Bienal de Cine Científico in Ronda, Spain.
The recognition has been issued for over 30 years and distinguishes the best scientific productions worldwide. The eureka’s series show the trip that the english naturalist Charles Darwin under tour across for Chile through the first half of the nineteenth century.
The series broadcasted in Chile via Chilevisión and was financially supported by theFundación Ciencia para la Vida, the Consejo Nacional de Televisión, The Fundación Minera La Escondida, the Fundación Ciencia y Evolución and the Universidad San Sebastián.
In addition to the prize in Spain, The Vogaje of Darwin has been nominated for the Altazor Award, and was also finalist in the Scienza Vedere Grand Prix in Milan.
