Biography

Scientific Director of BIOS Chile IGSA, Professor of the Universidad Andrés Bello, Investigator at the Instituto Milenio de Biología Fundamental y Aplicada (MIFAB). Expert in molecular biology and the biochemistry of nucleic acids. Former Professor and Vice Dean of Research and Academic Affairs at the Universidad Austral, Valdivia. Recipient in 2004 of the Pasteur Institute Biomedicine Award.
