Our Fundacion is invited to the “SubMesa de Datos COVID-19” of the Ministry of Sciences

Since the COVID-19 pandemic arrived at Chile in March 2020, the Ministry of Sciences nominated a group of national researchers to be members of the SubMesa de Datos COVID-19 (https://www.minciencia.gob.cl/covid19). This technical instance has the objective to make publicly available a large collection of public and private data to be used by scientists, the government, and the general public, to follow up the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tomas Perez-Acle has been member of this board since its creation contributing with data, technical recommendations, forecasting and nowcasting of the pandemic impact in Chile, together with public policy proposals.
