Course on Immunology for high school teachers: “How does the immune system work?”

From January 3 to 9, 2018, Fundación Ciencia & Vida will participate, together with the Faculty of Sciences of Universidad de Chile, in an Immunology course for upper secondary school teachers.

The topics discussed will cover different aspects of immunology, including the production of antibodies, the roles of T lymphocytes, tolerance and the regulation of immune system responses. These interesting topics will be explained by Dr. María Rosa Bono, Dr. Daniela Sauma and Dr. Nicole Halçartégaray.

The course has no admission fees and will take place from 9 to 12 h in the Faculty of Sciences of Universidad de Chile. It will have the sponsorship of the Chilean Immunology Association (ASOCHIN). The places are limited and a certificate of attendance will be provided.
