Carolina Torrealba gave a talk in “Puerto de Ideas” Festival in Antofagasta

Dr. Carolina Torrealba, Director of New Projects at Fundación Ciencia & Vida participated in this year’s version of Puerto de Ideas Festival, which took place in Antofagasta between 10th and 12th April. During her talk, entitled “In search of our scientific identity”, she explored different stories, papers and and biographies of the pioneers of Chilean science that reflected how science professionalized in our country.

This Festival also counted on the presence of several national and international participants, including scientists, musicians, writers, engineers and journalists. Among them, stands out the Israeli winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Ada Yonath.

This year, the “Puerto de Ideas” Festival had more than 10 thousand attendees and numerous activities for people from all ages.
