The project called “High-Level Biocontainment Laboratory for Human Pathogenic Viruses and Emerging Pathogens” was developed by the Principal Investigator of the Molecular Virology Lab of Fundación Ciencia & Vida, Nicole Tischler. It was awarded the I Contest for Major Scientific and Technological Equipment 2020, coordinated by the National Research and Development Agency, ANID.

Researchers from Fundación Ciencia & Vida publish an article in Mucosal Immunology
Rodrigo Pacheco and Valentina Ugalde, along with other researchers from the Neuroimmunology Lab of Fundación Ciencia & Vida, published an article in Mucosal Immunology. In this study they demonstrate how the dopaminergic stimulation of regulatory T lymphocytes in the colonic mucosa limits the suppressive function of these cells and inhibits their intestinal tropism.
