Former PhD Student of Fundación and UNAB publishes in Nature
13/04/2009Bertsy Goic a former PhD student in Biotechnology of Fundación and Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) published a paper in the recent number of the Journal Nature (March 19). She coauthored a publication entitled “Antiviral Inmunity in Drosophila requires systemic RNA interfering spread”. Bertsy Goic is presently doing a postdoctoral stay at the Pasteur Institut in Paris. Her doctoral thesis on the virus of Infectious Salmon Anemia (ISA) was carried out at the Fundación under the supervision of Dr. Luis Burzio.
