Fundación gave keynote lecture at renowned Clinic in Chile

Last Tuesday November 11th , Fundación’s Business Director, Cristian Hernandez-Cuevas, gave the closing keynote lecture at the First Internal Research and Development meeting of Clinica Santa Maria –one of Chile’s best clinics. His lecture was titled “The MDs of the future and biotechnology: a vision to 2020”.The presentation showed an overview of how biomedical research will shape the way Doctors go about their jobs and illustrated with many examples how things are changing in healthcare. It also covered a brief overview of the status of biomedical research made in Chile.

Clinica Santa Maria is actively pursing a more active role in clinical research with emphasis on basic and applied biomedical sciences.
